Job Context

This role is a 6 month contract with potential for full time position.

Job Responsibilities

• ABOUT YOU
• We are looking for a full time garment inspector to ensure that our orders are made exactly to our quality and brand expectations.
• You need to have experience in the garment industry as either production manager with a manufacturer or similar role in a buying house.
• You need to be experienced in the buying and manufacturing process across a range of production flows including fabrics (cotton and polyester primarily), cut&sew, screen printing, embroidery, yarn dying, label making and collar knitting.
• Your role will be to oversee each order whilst production is underway ensuring all specifications of the order is being adhered to by the relevant manufacturers. You will be reporting back daily to stake holders supplying updates.
• A strong command of written and spoken English is essential.
• You will work either from home, at the factory or at our office in Dhanmondi depending on what stage the project is at.
• You will be required to have access to a laptop, smart phone and internet connection. We will pay a subsidy for these items as part of your salary. Do not apply if you do not have access to these items.
